June Brigman

In this episode, we interview one of the leading women of mainstream comics, June Brigman. June might be best known for drawing Power Pack for Marvel (which she co-created with Louise Simonson), Star Wars, and Supergirl, to name just a few series she’s worked on, June has had a varied and prolific career winning an Inkpot Award In 2014 and teaching both at the Joe Kubert School and the Savannah College of Art and Design. June also has drawn two classic continuity strips, Brenda Starr, Reporter (1995-2011) and currently produces Mary Worth with her husband and inker Roy Richardson.
